Millions of people from all walks of life are being led to believe that their type 2 diabetes is from genetic factors. And that they will have to be on medication for the rest of their lives. But if you do the research you will find that scientists and nutritionists, along with well-researched doctors will tell you it is a disease that can be fairly easy to reverse. You must be willing to make some lifestyle changes that you CAN do.
By reducing insulin resistance you will be able to improve your overall health in many different ways! It will help prevent you from getting other diseases. And will cool the inflammation in your body. Improve your cardiac health. And actually, help prevent you from getting cancer.
OLE (olive leaf extract) for diabetes:
Olive leaf extract as a hypoglycemic agent in both human diabetic …
Olive leaf extract is associated with improved glucose homeostasis in humans. Animal models indicate that this may be facilitated through the reduction of starch digestion and absorption. Olive leaf extract may represent an effective adjunct therapy that normalizes glucose homeostasis in individuals with diabetes.

TAURINE for T2DM
After 8 weeks, Taurine-supplemented patients had a considerable decrease in serum insulin and HOMA-IR compared to placebo group. However, Taurine supplementation did not improve other metabolic parameters including lipid profiles, glycated hemoglobin, and fasting blood glucose (FBG). There was a significant decline in MDA, TNF, and hs-CRP levels after these eight-week period of Taurine supplementation. In addition, the Taurine group had fewer serum levels of endothelial dysfunction markers than the placebo group.
Conclusions
The evidence from our study revealed that Taurine supplementation significantly reduced insulin and HOMA-IR, as well as oxidative stress, inflammation, and endothelial markers in individuals with T2DM.

Conclusion
This review article expressed the main aspects of metabolic syndrome and protective mechanisms of cinnamon and its active ingredients in reducing and ameliorating complications of metabolic syndrome. Features of metabolic syndrome including dyslipidemia, hyperglycemia, hypertension and obesity are under the influence by cinnamon that be proven by in vivo and in vitro studies that be shown in this article. It has been concluded that cinnamon has potential therapeutic use in metabolic syndrome and can prevent morbidity and mortality due to cardiovascular diseases.

More than 4,000 patients in this project consumed Iodine supplements from 12 to 50 mg per day, and in those with diabetes, up to 100 mg a day. They reported their findings that Iodine does indeed reverse fibrocystic disease; diabetic patients require less insulin; hypothyroid patients require less thyroid medication; symptoms of fibromyalgia resolve, and patients with migraine headaches stop having them. ALS:
A total of 86 patients treated with TUDCA were matched to 172 patients who did not receive treatment. TUDCA-exposed patients were stratified based on dosage (less than or equal to 1000 mg/day or greater) and duration (less than or equal to 12 months or longer) of treatment. The median overall survival was 49.6 months (95% CI 41.7–93.5) among those treated with TUDCA and 36.2 months (95% CI 32.7–41.6) in the control group, with a reduced risk of death observed in patients exposed to a higher dosage (defined as ≥ 1000 mg/day) of TUDCA (HR 0.56; 95% CI 0.38–0.83; p = 0.0042) compared to both the control group and those with lower TUDCA dosages (defined as < 1000 mg/day). TUDCA was generally well-tolerated, except for a minority of patients (n = 7, 8.1%) who discontinued treatment due to side effects, primarily gastrointestinal and mild in severity; only 2 adverse events required hospital access but resolved without sequelae. 8. Conclusion
In summary, polyphenols (including caffeic acid, chlorogenic acid, salvianolic acid A, ferulic acid, proanthocyanidins, puerarin, resveratrol, EGCG, ellagitannins, and anthocyanidins), alkaloids (berberine and betaine), capsaicin, polysaccharides (dietary fiber, oligofructose, inulin, stachyose, fucoidan, and other active polysaccharides), and some Chinese medicines have been found to regulate intestinal A. muciniphila. In models of HFD-induced obesity or enteritis, these substances have shown to significantly increase the abundance of A. muciniphila and improve the corresponding condition. This suggests great potential for developing dietary interventions that use these substances to increase A. muciniphila in the future. Among them, polyphenols and polysaccharides are relatively universal, while capsaicin, a Chinese medicine, is not suitable for the general public. Alkaloids are promising, but more research is needed to confirm their activity, and alkaloids are not a typical dietary component. Promoting the abundance of A. muciniphila‘s mechanisms focused on promoting the secretion of mucins and their antibacterial ability (Fig. 1). This paper provides a lot of theoretical basics for the development of dietary strategies that can improve intestinal A. muciniphila abundance in the future. SOURCE:
